Because of its low end torque there is no need of constant gear shifts that make it possible to ooze through the city traffic at 30 kmph on 5th gear smoothly, and can run at 65- 70 kmph on highways. I am getting 62-66 kmpl in this bike. But you must use choke in this bike at the first start of the day( for brilliant performance). I got this milage only after 5th service. till then i got only 40-45 kmpl. Then i understood that the engine will attain stable milage only after 4 th service.
