    Pulsar 220 DTS-i is the fastest Indian as well as it have better stabilized engine at high speeds . Kaizma ZMR will melt down at higher speeds .

    It is not possilble to everyone to become the fastest indian on local city roads.
    Bajaj has not given us the racing tracks for achieving 144 kmph.
    But I like the pulsar 220 dtsi becoz of the power, looks, good stability and other configs that you prefer.
    So the both bikes are excellent for the Indian road conditions.
    But hero honda should have increased the power n torque as they have made the bike technically advance.
    Both bikes are best for long distance.

    The ZMR is a dream to ride. The engine smoothness and refinement is of top notch quality. The rider comfort has been held priority by Hero Honda and this bike only excels it. P220 is definitely VFM but too rough a ride post the 115 kmph mark. The ZMR is for serious bikers who love munching miles at high speeds n not indulge in unnecessary street racing.

    I was in a confusion to buy one of the two bikes,, shud it be ZMR or shud it be P 220!!!, i have been a long customer of the hero hondas and had my earlier bike CBZ from them. inspired from CBZ i went to get a ZMR for myself….. tried it, and then to take a second opinion i went to the bajaj. P 220, i tried it, it zooms off, after a while i was really confused among both the two, finally i tried my friends new ZMR on the highway and then P220, P220 always washes away ZMR. No matter its the pickup or the racing throttle, P220 excels, i was thrilled by its performance, ZMR is good but P220 shaked me. I loved it. There were many more reasons i preferred to buy this P220 finally. The Big difference in price and more features for less cash. why would someone spend that extra amount of money if he gets better features for less. Right from tubeless tyres to double discs to super looks and great performance. I have my own reasons to prefer this bike. for me P220 is far far better than ZMR!!!!. There are few people who might have tried the P220 earlier and have a negative impact of its performance… i wud suggest guys go back to the showroom and try it today…. the entire impression for P220 shall change. I am sure…. u ll be surprised as well as happy. Have a great biking experience.

    p220 far better than karizma zmr.p220 beats the zmr in all the factors.

    Guys pulsar only has good Bhp compare to Karizma. Karizma is ruling the roads since 2003 and just got some competitors. And they have launched ZMR Above all the name says it all. I am ridding karizma for almost 5 years and when i ride pulsar it feels good but not as good and smooth as karizma. You can do any kind of mod in karizma it can take it. But pulsar can’t because of it’s cheap quality. Karizma is driven by royals….

    Actually the engine quality of the zmr is better than new 220, FAR BETTER, 220 will be in good condition for one year and after that it will wear out, ( this will actually happen if u RIDE THE BIKE- LIKE A P220, NOT LIKE A BAJAJ PLATINA!!!)

    but karizma will keep up its performance and pickup after 1 year and also for a long long time, if u love ur bike AND want to ride for more than 1 year then go for KARIZMA ZMR ELSE go for PULSAR 220…..

P220 got instant acceleration but lacks stability & poor handling. R15 pick up is less now the turn to ZMR then how to describe, wt it is exactly. i bet if R15 able to defeat ZMR in its 1st four gears & later it stay wid ZMR. by my side p220 is real loser. those having 75000, they can buy it, i don’t bother.if ur taking about real accelator then it is RTR180. ride it to beleive it. and overall ZMR is the king.     Guys I own a Karizma ZMR (Black). She definitely grabs eyeballs at traffic signals. Looks great, feels good too. trust me, the ZMR’s performance is not below the P220. If u are an experienced rider, u can beat the P220 with a ZMR. The suspension of the ZMR is far better than the P220. Bajaj has always had reliability issues with its products n the P220 post 20,000 kms approx will never feel the same as new, its performance will also take a dip n so will the comfort levels. The ZMR belongs to the Karizma lineage n will hold firm in the years to come. ZMR is meant for classy, sophisticated and passionate people who love to ride in style. Bon Voyage……….

    From my point of view pulsar 150cc to pulsar 220cc the back look is same.and again Front look as also same in Pulsar 150cc to 200cc.
    Maintaince of bajaj bikes part is always high from starting to end. And other thing of Speed there is no place to run the bike at 144 or 146 kmph in the Cityplace. If the Battary fails in pulsar 220cc in middle of road then bike stucks in between. Sound of engine is very high.
    Bajaj has always had Consistency issues with its products n the P220 post 20,000 kms approx will never feel the same as new, its performance will also take a dip n so will the comfort levels.
    Front Disc brake of pulsar is bullshit, & is the main reason for most Accidents taking place in City. the Handling of pulsar is not good.
    Vibration in pulsar is the worst thing in 150cc to 220cc in speed. looking to the point giving less Amt first and making high expence then after is foolish thing.
    Average is same of Pulsar 220cc & Karizma 223cc.

    Hero Honda the Name is Enough.
    Believe me, If u are an experienced rider, u can beat the P220 with a ZMR or even with old karizma.
    When you r standing at Signal with pulsar 220 & the Other has Karizma ZMR the Main Attration will be Karizma ZMR.

    Karizma ZMR is different from all bike.
    Looks are Excellent & Graphics are cool. The suspension of the ZMR is far better than the P220.
    The Stock in the Bike is Different from all bike. Its smooth drive for both long & city. Its little bit expensive but the stock in the bike is excellent. sound of Engine is Low. Vibration is Enough at Speed. Handling is good.

    Yamaha R15 is the Worst bike ever made by yamaha. spending 1.7 lakhs and getting 149cc bike is foolish thinking. you cannot use R15 Regularly for basis. and also the Average of is only of 25 km. but Fz is good looking bike with good stock in it.

    Karizma Zmr & the Older Versions of Karizma is the Best bike ever made by hero honda. the Stock is good. Graphics and looks are excellent.. Perfomance of ZMR is Excellent years & years rather than pulsar220. Main thing maintaince is very low other than bajaj Pulsar 220cc. ZMR looooooks r muscular and drives well too.

    mileage of bajaj is good in the 1st year but gradually reduces with high margins…. at last engine gets @!$%^&#$. but hero honda has more engine life and mileage never reduces with time even after 10 years… so HeroHonda is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi DILRAJ CHAHAL,
    As you know yamaha is only for Racing Concept not for Regular use. But Hero honda alwys think ahead from them. U can use Karizma for Regular use.
    I m also using it for Office. Its gives me Average of 33 Km.
    But R15 & pulsar220 Average is Just 22 to 25 km.

    I own a pulsar 220 DTSI….
    i am a street racer and a highway dragster…
    My friends have karizma R, ZMR and R15… weneva v race, its d pulsar 220 that undoubtedly wins…..
    my pulsar gives me 35-40kmpl mileage…. and during racing, it gives around 25… but karizma and r15 giv 30-35kmpl mileage.. but during racing, it gives only 15-20kmpl…..
    R15 is gr8 for wheelies and stoppies… not racing… but it has gud control wyl turning….and its comfortable for long drives… Karizma R and Karizma ZMR are the 2 waste bikes… they are good for nothing….no high top speed… no stunt capability… and is very common and not sexy… if u r luking for riding comfort, r15 is beter.. if u r lukin for performance, power, top speed and sexiness, Pulsar 220 Dtsi is d bike u want… and pulsar 220 DTSi is rs.30000 lesser than r15 and rs.25000 lesser than karizma zmr

    I have a P220 new edition.

    I want to ask guys who want to buy ZMR some questions;

    1: Do you wan to shell out 20K buck more for shear technology that you never know how they work and don’t even increase the performance?

    2: Why didn’t the company try to increase the power and integrate technology in it rather than only fitting sensors and an FI?

    Guys you take out the older karizma engine and integrate a processor and an injector with some shitty sensors and there comes the new ZMR.

    If you could recall the older P220 Fi had an injector an oil cooler, but the company removed it when it saw the performance decreased.

    And yes P200 has a DTSi processor to calculate te eignition timings of both the plugs in real time.

    Test ride both of them and feel the adrenaline rush in each, measure it. Then buy it.

    Yamaha is the old company Manufacturing Sports bike. So we cannot point out there bike. R15 is the Mistake but Mistakes happens by ever1. Spending 1.2 Lakhs & taking 149.5CC bike is Stupid thinking. When you run R15 on 120km, the bike just leave the Road. Its a very Small bike with Small tyres. So it cannot be Ride at the Speed of 140km. the bike just start shaking and Vibration goes beyond it. Other thing R15 is not Capable for Stunts. Every1 knows that.
    Ride Pulsar220 & yamaha R15 for Long Distance you will easily understand the Problems. Both are not Comfortable for Long Distance.
    Ride Karizma (any Model) for both Long & short Distance you will see the Diffrence. Its a Smooth bike with zero Vibration.
    So Friendz go for Karizma.

    Hi Shuv & Eddy,

    You take P220 And just go for Mofication like Karizma ZMR, I Guarantee you that i will cost you around 20K to 30K buck. But you will not be satified by that bcoz of its Vibration. Other than Just Ride Karizma ZMR and you will know wats the main Difference of riding smooth bikes, either of riding the bike with too Noisy and Vibration. Other than that the technology that hero honda is give are check 1st. then after they release the bike on Road & the Perfomance abt wat u r saying, is much good than Pulsar 220. What we want to do abt 21 Bhp as i said 1st there is no place in city to ride the bike fast as they show. you have even saw the Advertise of Pulsar 220 that they are also showing the Region or road out side india.
    About Sensor that u r talking is the company is thing about the safty of Rider and pilow seatting back. just go & Asked Bajaj that they know abt IACV technology or abt PGM Fi technology or either abt ECU. I bet you then r unknow abt that. by Giving 2 Plugs on both side & the DTSi processor which is Common in Ever Pulsar.
    As you said above, I am Giving you my Old Karizma you just integrate a processor and an injector with some shitty sensors & with an Oil cooler and show me how can you convert my Old karimza to the new ZMR. If you did it i bet you tht i will buy New Pulsar 220 for u.
    Talking is very easy but doing that is more harder than you think yaar. If it was possible than no 1 in India will buy karizma Zmr. And all of them will convert the old Karizma to the New Version.

    ZMR GIVES MILEAGE OF OVER 37KMPL IN CITY & OVER 43 KMPL HIGHWAY.
    P220 GIVES NOT MORE THAN 33KMPL IN HIGHWAYS. SPEED IS NOT EVERY THING, THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED COMFORT, ZMR IS THE BEST COMFORTABLE BIKE EVER IN INDIA. ZMR LOOKS ARE STUNNING. IT’S HEAVIER & MORE COMFORTABLE THAN R15 OR P220.
    “P220 IS FOR CHEAP PEOPLES.”

    Hey guyz.. Stop debate on which bike is good. I’ve owned a brand new pulsar 220 dtsi just before 4months. Now it has done around 6000kms. In my opinion, if you are a member of a middle class family, you can directly select P220 without thinking. Bcos,it will give you more speed, power and comfort than u expect. I got a higher milage of 48kmpl. If u stay calm and cool, u will get more milage. But if u have a racing spirit,then no one will reach upto u. So feel like THE KING OF THE ROAD… So ROCK YOUR ROADS

    i had seen lots of comments for P220 & ZMR those doesn’t matter for me! i just want to purchase one good bike that’s all. i had seen P220, RTR180, R15 & ZMR and i booked one bike yesterday. Manufacturers are making bikes for people its doesn’t matter performance, speed, mileage, price and other etc things. if manufactures are making same thing then why some purchasing P220, R15, RTR180 & ZMR. its necessary to having some diff between each and every bike.

    My heart said the ZMR is good then i directly go the shop and book the ZMR. i don’t think anything regarding, Mileage, Speed, Performance, Price and other things.

    So don’t think anything, Jo dil na kaha wahi bike sabse best hai…………

    Its not about style,racing, pick up or top speed, the main concern for every rider is his safety, yes i agree that these all are taken in to consideration when we own a bike but secondary. ” A Power with out a control is Useless”. I am XBHP member and i tested almost all bikes including some Foreign,

    Its not about a particular company, it can be a Bajaj or Herohonda or Yamaha.

    1) In stability and control even in top speed both Yamaha and Karizma ZMR are outstanding.
    2)Breaking system and for Comfortable long Ride Its none other than ZMR.
    3)If you are a street racer and always want to defeat your oponent in the shorter distance, yes you have to choose P220.. but becareful with the Traffic.
    4)Want to feel the R1 yes you have to choose Yamaha R15 which will make you feel like you almost own an R1.
    5) Tyre wise every body feels like P220 has the greater stability as it has the larger and wider tyre but the fact is, Its R15 who stood in 1st place in this part, its tyre has been manufactured specially for the road stability and then comes P220 and ZMR.

    Hi guys,

    I have gone through most of the ppl’s feedback or so called reviews. I own a ZMR now. and my bro has a Pulsar 220. I have personally experienced that pulsar is quick and faster but what is the point of being fast when u don’t have control on the bike. At 110 pulsar starts shaking and if u suddenly experience some one in your way definitely u are dead. But at 120 ZMR is very handy with complete control of the rider.

    Mileage wise pulsar never reached 30 for me. Though you are a economic rider u will get a max 28 out of a liter of fuel. But ZMR gives u aroud 32 with a rash driving and above 35 definitely for a boring rider.

    I dont know about R15. but R15 is for ppl who are short. If you are a well built person of height 6 ft, and if u sit on a R15 it looks very odd. R15 is a gud bike as I see on the roads but can not be compared to ZMR nor pulsar 220.

    Any bike need good Maintenance…and i find Pulsar pro biking service is far better then HH Karizma ZMR….I like ZMR but Pulsar RIP off ZMR every time whether it is Street or Highway….I own all new P220 and its riding control has been improved impressively…i got it with iRC tyre and its grip is just awesome much much better than MRF Zapper…and P220 gives the mileage of 40KM\Ltr in city.

    If you are talking about the three toppers (ZMR, P220, & R15), let me tell you something.

    First of all, all these Fairies have a disadvantage….guess what…just think u are riding any of these machines through a dark road, (like a high-range road or something) in a dark night, u are riding it 80s or above, and u have to make a 90 degree turn, where no other source of light is available except your bikes head light….what happens ??? The bikes light will not follow its handle since it is mounted on the fairing.

    Ok now, lets start with other factors….

    ZMR…If you are taking this bike…its really worth of that much amount… I assure you….Everyone will give it a look, no matter what colour bike it is..red, pearl white, blue, yellow, or black. It is very smooth in ride and handling is one step ahead of one of its rivals, P220. This bike has got more control than older Karizmas and u will feel it while u ride it.

    In my eyes, the faults in this machine are, Its fairing; though it gives a bulky appearance, the bike lacks a crash guard (leg guard) if in case of any accident, chances are that ur legs will suffer along with your bikes fairing. I wonder how ZMR fans will feel if their new bike, on the first day, fell from its standing position or may be in a parking lot or somewhere else due to a silly mistake or imbalance. The whole bike is sporty and sexy, but not the rear tyre, I must say.

    P220….

    If you are ready to take risk, if there is racing spirit in you, then there is a scary, mighty machine called P220….It will give you the pleasure of racing. Its wolf-eyed head light and fairing mounted mirrors are, in my opinion, that makes it an eye-catcher. Its handling is good, but not good like it’s rivals R15 or ZMR. Its road grip is excellent with those fat rear tyres and all.

    The faults are, I think, its tail lamp, which starts to shake after 1-2 months…the re-sale value, the mileage, the body vibration after 100kmph, and I must say, its not an eye-catcher if u ride it in 60s or 80s…because nowadays there are lots and lots of pulsars everywhere (and most of them black i guess) and 60% of people won’t understand it is a P180, P200, or a P220 unless they notice the fairing. So, ride it through hell to get noticed. Otherwise you are the same guy who is riding a P150.

    R15….

    Everyone will wonder why is it so expensive when it has only a 150 cc engine with six gears. The thing is that guys, believe it or not, this is one true sporting bike from Yamaha. This bike stands alone where it excels than P220 or ZMR. May it be the technology or the smoothness, which it gives you even at the speed of 120+. Its gear ratio and steady pick up keeps it ahead from its rivalries. It is the only 150 cc machine, which can go up to 120+ without any uneasy feeling to the rider. The handling is too good. The fairing gives it a mean look. Thats why this bike comes always in competetion with P220 and ZMR and not with Hunk, Extreme, RTR 160, GS150R or any other 150s. Complete rider satisfaction where the feeling of oneness with the machine, thats R15.

    But, there are some faults also…like, the bike lacks it all look from rear. Its tail lamp gives an impression that someone moulded some other bike’s tail to its body (since its looking so slim than its front side) and its rear tyre, though gives comfortable road grip, is not worth eye-catching. Obviously then comes the price….1.17 lacs for a 150 cc engine…its too much in Indian market…at least.

    hey guys, first of all i will talk about pulser 220. it is made of cheap quality,which has got no resale value, no kick which means if there is a battery problem it will give you a big problem. bajaj is a indian company but hero honda has a share of 26% which means there technology is used in their bikes. pulser has got security features. if you are sitting on a pulser no body will look once. but if you are sitting on karizma zmr definately people will look at you once. and we are talking about a company which has sold 1crore splender motercyle. their bikes have got resale value. bajaj is only changing the cc of bikes like pulser 135,150,180,220, platina 100,125 discover 100,135,150 they only know this much to do they dont got new ideas and technology like herohonda karizma has got funcky look made up of better quality you also got many things with it like the passport relationship bajaj gives nothing with the bike. all pulser have got same looks. karizma also comes with centre locking. pulser is for those who want only speed and nothing else,people with cheap thinking buy that for harsh riding but the zmr is for royals. it is expensive only beacuse something better is used in this bike as compared to pulser220.hero honda name is enough so i prefer to buy karizma for smooth riding.

    But I said KARIZMA ZMR is the best bike because I drive both bikes.
    Karizma can overtake oter vechile very easily without hard vibrating. but pulsur220 can’t go fast witout vibration, its back body and mudgurd was very nice vibrators.

    KARIZMA ZMR is very Great luxury look.
    Pulsur220 head was not looking nice, the head light of its is like a bike torch light.

    my pulsar 220 gives me a average of 45…..
    whereas,karizma,is a bike which has ntng more than few graphics!!!!
    n graphics dnt add to performance of the bike!!!

    I think if we compare both bikes maintainence and all other stuff ZMR is best bike to buy, coz its comes with technology with low maintainence and gives Mileage of 40km/l. I have my ZMR which reach top most of 140kmph speed and on highway if we drive in between 50 to 70 it gives 42 to 44 avg..

    Who d heck cares of SPEED? Agar speed dekhni hai toh hayabusa lelo na.. If u want a comfortable and safety ride then go for Karizma ZMR bcz its ABOVE ALL.!!

    i think pulsar is better than karizma
    if people thinks to buy any bike in between pulsar and karizma . my sincear advice is to take pulsar 220.have a great drive

    Devansh Dude, yaar tune toh Honda CBR 250 ko bhi fail kr diya Pulsar 220 k mukable… 175 KMPH… I bet that u can’t beet me even on my Karizma which is 2005 molad… Pulasr 220 last speed on gurgaon x press highway is 122 kmph when the road is empty and the bike is on the top of it… i have karizma 2005 modal, which stil goes on 145 kmph… Chhor utani jo yakeen kr sake koi. I know that pulasr goes on 144 kmph and that is the max speed u can drive it… but after 115 kmph it starts crumbling, and karizma u can drive it on the peed of 145 smoothaly like butter…

    I have test driven both these bikes not for short distances but even for long journeys. Being a professional biker has perks as I have used both these bikes. I totally agree that Pulsar 220 has a better pickup than ZMR but if u look at the comfort level I feel ZMR is far more superior in that respect. At the end of the day u dnt want a back-ache after a long ride and ZMR really takes care of it. ZMR has a perfect balance of speed and comfort which gives a luxurious ride. Another small aspect of Pulsar 220 is that it has only electric start wich means if the battery runs out so does ur bike. U will have to drag the bike back home. I feel ZMR is value for money. Its for those who just don’t go for speed they need SPEED + COMFORT.

    pulsar 220 ‘s like a jet plane on the highway,i achived 135kmph in 4th gear.on the other hand zmr is like a tortoise on the highway. 220rockz

    I have been using ZMR for s year now,i used pulsar 220 before i sold that and bought karizma,and comparing these two bikes i will only say that Karizma ZMR is heaven compared to Pulsar 220 which is hell…

    karizma zmr has also superb looks ,it’s basic R&d is from Suzuki Hayabusa(the king of all bikes).

    Hello Mate,
    i have a booked a zmr and love to ride karishma zmr because it has fuel injection , mileage is better and engine is so smooth ,igrs suspension so it glides even in potholed roads, front and rear disk breaks, reliable honda engine, digital instrument panel, split handle bars though the upright position of rider is maintained , rider comfort,spilt grab rails ,led tail lights, oil cooling ,tube less tyres. etc.

    what we have in pulsar 220 is cheap gear box .life of bajaj product is almost three years after that you will get problem in gear shifting, mileage , riding comfort . So maintenance cost for a bajaj product is pretty much higher . i have seen all my friends with p150 and p180 and p220 and platina and discover are facing problems with transmission , mileage,and comfort .but i have not heard any problem with karishma r so the upgraded version of karishma r which is zmr will be a much better vehicle with which you can enjoy riding for whole of your life time !!!!!!! .

    So people who expects good mileage,comfort,technology,low maintenance cost please go for zmr

    people who only need performs with out latest technolgy like Fuel injection and can tolerate maintenance cost and mileage and engine problems please go for bajaj products.

    I am an owner of Karizma zmr. first of all i want to tell that my beast had satisfied me with a stunning mileage of 56 kms. its heart is very smooth.i feel like God whenever i ride zmr. its far….far….far…better than 220
